Victor Buencamino

I was born in Los Angeles, California and lived there until age 4. Then moved to the Philippines where I went to school in Colegio San Agustin, Makati with my cousins until age 12. Moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I learned to enjoy playing tennis and made new friends. At age 17, moved again, this time to Vancouver, British Columbia which is in Canada. Enjoyed the cold, and especially enjoyed snowboarding and camping. I made many close friends in Canada, but then as usual, we moved again at age 19. This time back to the Philippines where I am currently taking up Business Management in De La Salle University. I am enjoying my time here and having fun spending time with old friends and family, though the weather is terrible.

ARNOLD DY

I am Arnold Immanuel Rafanan Dy, 18 years of age, i am currently taking up Business Management in De La Salle University. I graduated high school in Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu. I was born and raised in the city of Cebu. However, due to education i am residing in Manila. I love to go out with friends, workout in the gym, play basketball, and read books. My personality is like a a day in the beach, chill. I am a passive person which means i dont look for trouble or i dont initiate something that much. if you wanna know more about me i suggest you see me in person.

GILBERT CHUA

Back in 1997, in Chong Hua Hospital, a hospital in Cebu, I was born. I was born. My parents named me Gilbert L. Chua, after my grandfather Gilberto.  I was raised well by my parents. They rendered a tender-loving care to me and never made a mistake in raising me up.

Things were happy in my early life. I had good grades, family, teachers, and friends. As a kid, I was very naughty and spoiled. I always demand for toys every week and my parents couldn’t do anything about it because I was their only child. Being an only child, had really affected me as a person. I always knew that I can get everything I want, hence making me a spoiled brat, back then. My father, Robert Chua, a Singaporean, lived in Singapore. He visits us in Cebu every three months. I was always with my mother in Cebu, that’s the reason why I’m closer with her than my father.

I studied in Sacred Heart School – Jesuit for 13 years. That school was my second home and I really made good friends there. Growing up in a Catholic school, we were taught Christian values. Basically, SHS-J made me a better person.

I always loved dancing since I was in grade school, but didn’t have the courage to show it to other people. When I was in high school, I joined the school’s dance club and improved my skills in dancing. I also loved playing soccer but I didn’t join the high school varsity team because I was already in the dance club. So, I joined another organization outside our school called Leylam.

In college, I didn’t have the chance to showcase my talents because people here are too good and that decrease my self-esteem. Nevertheless, DLSU-Manila is a school full of extraordinary people that I can learn from. As a son of Chinese man, he wanted me to focus more on my academics than in extracurricular activities, like dancing and sports.

As of now, I don’t regret anything that came to my life. I accept it and learn from so that I could be a better person in the future.

KELSEY FURIGAY

My name is Kelsey Rose Marian U. Furigay. I love sports, music, art, food and everything in between. I enjoy going out to eat, reading books, watching films and going outdoors, especially the beach. I have a twin sister called Hannah. Both of my parents are currently politicians. My sister and I lived in Cebu our whole lives and now we're here in Manila for college. I am currently a sophomore taking up Marketing Management in De La Salle University - Manila. After college, I hope to travel everywhere and someday move to Hawaii on the island of Oahu and maybe even pursue my dreams of starting my own organic hipster cafe.
